Are you cook?

I especially like cooking cakes and puddings.

Any cooking tips?

Have faith in yourself and everything will turn out okay… this goes for everything in life, not just cooking.

What’s your favourite dish?

Any international food. If I’m dining in an English restaurant I often choose duck with orange sauce.

And drink to go with it?

I generally drink water with a meal, but with duck I’d go for a Chardonnay. The slight sweetness balances the fattiness of the dish.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

It has to be Cubana: great food and a fantastic atmosphere. I love the live music nights and now they’ve moved to Leopold Square, it’s even better!

And pub?

The Pointing Dog Clubhouse in Ecclesall Road.

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?

In a local tapas bar: the food was obviously pre-cooked and reheated in a microwave.

And the best?

A Thai green curry at Patoo in Ecclesall Road. Absolutely amazing; so tasty and excellent service.

Your favourite TV cook?

I love Jamie Oliver and he has done so much for the public approach to cooking, but I also love The Great British Bake Off and Paul Hollywood’s amazing blue eyes!

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

Overall it’s fantastic, with so many international restaurants at our finger tips.
