Ashford-in-the-Water. 8 miles 4-4.5 hours to walk along fields, tracks, dales and roads, taking us to Little Longstone, Litton, Cressbrook Dale, Monsal Head then back into Ashford. Meet at 10.0 outside the toilet block in the small car park at Ashford-in-the-Water. Friday, Stanage Edge. Above and below Stanage Edge for this 4.5 mile walk which should take 2 and 3/4 hours to complete. Expect mud and a fair bit of surface water on the first half of the walk along the top of the edge, followed by road walking on the return leg beneath the rocks. Meet at Burbridge Bridge at 9.45.
