Now keen amateurs can try their hand at creating the same delicious results with the firm’s new DIY line for home cooks.

Chocolate at Home is a range of kits, each containing everything needed to make professional-looking truffles or canapés.

“We were inspired by the Great British Bake Off – and we wanted to bring great chocolate to consumers at home,” says spokeswoman Natasha Blackburn.

“We thought the best way was to design easy-to-use chocolate-making kits and we’re really excited about the result.”

The Ecclesfield company began with five kits, including artisan plain and milk chocolate truffles, fruity dessert canapés and bumblebee chocolate lollies.

All ingredients come in ready-to-use packs and everything is supplied, from truffle shells, Madagascan single origin and Belgian chocolates to piping bag and recipe card.

The range was unveiled at the Cake International show at the NEC – and proved an immediate hit.

“We’ve been bowled over by the response,” says Natasha. “People love the fact that our kits provide an easy chocolate-making experience. And once they taste them they’re captivated!”
