Air ambulance lands at scene of 'serious' Doncaster road crash

Emergency services including the air ambulance are dealing with a ‘serious’ road crash in a Doncaster village this afternoon.

The air ambulance helicopter, fire crews and police are all at the scene near the Ingram Arms pub in Hatfield.

A photo has emerged of the incident which shows a red pick-up truck embedded in a telegraph pole on the corner of Station Road.

Earlier, bus operator First South Yorkshire said that buses were being diverted in the village following the 'serious’ collision.

It is also understood that a silver Seat car may have been involved in the incident.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the main road through Hatfield following the collision.

First South Yorkshire said that the 84A and 87A bus routes were being disrupted, with diversions in place and passengers being urged to check services before travelling.
