All change at care home firm

A family run business which builds care homes in the region has appointed a new head of operations.

Silk Healthcare, which provides purpose built care home facilities in Lancashire, Teeside and Yorkshire, has welcomed Alison Tait into the role.

Alison has 25 years’ experience in the sector and will take responsibility for all aspects of the company’s service delivery, quality and compliance.

Christine Walters, director at the Barnsley-based firm, said: “Alison will be a real asset in her new role.

“She has the experience, the knowledge and the drive to make a significant impact.”
