Armed police and helicopter descend on Sheffield estate
Armed police have descended on a Sheffield estate to deal with an incident.
Eyewitnesses said armed police were on foot and the police helicopter was hovering above Batemoor Park as of 5.40pm on Monday.
One said the incident seemed to be around a block of flats on Bawshaw Avenue.
The Star has contacted South Yorkshire Police for more information and is awaiting a reply.
