Baby Ava here just in time for special date

A PERSONAL trainer got an early Christmas present when her baby daughter arrived on her very special due date.

Aimee Rogers, of Sheffield, was told by doctors that little Ava was due on December 12, 2012, after falling pregnant in March but never expected it to happen.

Aimee, who had a home birth, said: “My due date provided a great talking point throughout my pregnancy but I never expected her to arrive on time.

“I was two days overdue with my son previously and I know how few babies arrive on their due date so didn’t get too excited about when she would actually turn up.”

But it seems Ava was determined to make an entrance and arrived just in the nick of time – at 11.43pm after a day of labour.

Last Wednesday was the final time the date, month and year will correspond this century and during this generation’s lifetime.

Aimee added: “I had planned a home birth so when my contractions started on Wednesday morning we were excited but a little bit shocked that it was all starting on time.

“Everything really started to kick off around 8pm.

“When the midwives turned up we were all determined to have the baby out on this special date.

“Baby Ava turned up just in time at 11.43pm.”

Aimee trains solely female clients in the evenings and weekends under the name Revitalise Fitness.

She is now taking some time out with her baby over Christmas before returning to work in the spring.
