FORMER England cricket captain Michael Vaughan will join a walk around three dams of the Peak District on Sunday, October 7 to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

A patron of The Children’s Hospital Charity, he will take part in a circular walk through the Derwent Valley, which skirts the dams of Ladybower, Derwent and Howden. Fundraisers can choose from routes of five, 10 and 15 miles.

Michael said: “As a dad to three little ones, it’s really important to me that the hospital’s staff get recognition for the outstanding work they do, and that the hospital continues to be supported by the wider community.”
