Bin services return to normal after strike
All uncollected bins have been dealt with after a strike affected services across the city.
Services on Friday were disrupted by industrial action over disciplinary procedures at household waste management company Veolia. A backlog of bin collections was carried out over the weekend.
A spokesman for Veolia said: “This has caused an inconvenience to some residents and we would like to apologise.”
