SPORTS fans are being given the chance to find out how much their memorabilia is worth at a special Fantiques’ Roadshow in Sheffield.
Sheffield United are hosting the event in conjunction with Graham Budd Auctions.
The event takes place at Bramall Lane on Thursday, September 15, from 10am to 3pm.
Graham Budd Auctions are experts in the field of sporting memorabilia and will be able to give an immediate valuation for free.
Fans can take along any memorabilia whether it is Blades related or not.
Visitors will then have the option to place their item in a specialised sports auction, taking place at Sotheby’s New Bond Street saleroom in London on May 10.
United’s club historian John Garrett will be on hand in case some items of memorabilia interest the club which they want to buy for their Legends of the Lane museum.
United are also creating a Legends of the Lane eBay account so the club can buy and sell memorabilia online.
Programmes and signed shirts will be available on the website and funds raised will be ploughed into United’s collection at the museum.
United are also set to introduce the Birthday Programme where fans can buy the first home game issue nearest to their date of birth, as well offering official signed merchandise from former players.
