Blind golfer to show skills at charity fundraiser

A tournament is to be held at Abbeydale Golf Club on Friday, September 26, in aid of Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind.

The event, to mark Eye Health Week, is being supported by Mercury Taxis and will feature blind golfer Euin Hill, who was introduced to the sport by his son.

Euin plays in tournaments organised by England and Wales Blind Golf, as often as he can find a guide.

The day will feature a putting green challenge where players are asked to wear a blindfold and attempt a shot into the hole.
