BNP Paribas Real Estate has moved its Sheffield office to Fountain Precinct to enable the continued development and expansion of its service offering.

The Sheffield team is committed to delivering the right solutions for property owners, investors and occupiers across South Yorkshire and the North Midlands.

The strong financial backing of BNP Paribas has enabled the office to expand and develop in order to meet its client’s needs in an ever evolving and demanding environment.

By using its local knowledge combined with national support across every sector of the property market the team in Sheffield provides real estate solutions for local and national clients.

The 19-strong team is led by senior director Leighton Thomas who assumed the head of office role in July last year following Andrew Halstead’s retirement. He has worked with the company for 14 years developing a strong lease advisory team covering all sectors of the market.

The office provides advice on all areas of the property cycle; with specific expertise in agency, rating, lease advisory, planning, building consultancy and valuation.

The recent appointments of Guy Cooke from Knight Frank and Kate Pearson from Colliers International have bolstered the agency and lease advisory teams.

Guy now heads the agency team providing expert transactional and development advice throughout the region for all types of property.

Kate is a licensed and leisure lease advisory and valuation specialist; she advises clients on landlord and tenant matters relating to licensed and leisure properties.

Leighton Thomas said: “Our move to the new offices confirms our continued commitment to Sheffield and South Yorkshire where we have been providing commercial property advice for 39 years. The space we have taken will facilitate the continued expansion of the Sheffield office, as we look forward to facing the challenges presented by a continually evolving market.”
