A LAW firm boss from Sheffield is gaining a reputation in a completely different field – for a record-breaking catch while fishing.
Taylor and Emmet’s chief executive, Anthony Long, caught the biggest sturgeon ever found at Le Moulin du Mée, France.
Landing the 38.5lbs white sturgeon gives Anthony the lake record for the species of fish, and was his party’s biggest catch during their fishing holiday to the Indre region of central France.
The sturgeon was an even more exceptional find, as it is one of only five in a 14-acre lake known for its carp.
Anthony’s success marks the second year he has snared a record-breaking fish at Le Moulin du Mée.
In October, he hooked a 52lbs 12oz carp – his lifetime personal best and the biggest catch of the week for his party.
