Two supreme champion brews are to take pride of place at a top South Yorkshire beer festival which opens its doors tonight.
The event, at Rotherham United FC’s New York Stadium, will feature the latest CAMRA supreme champion Beer of Britain, Timothy Taylor Boltmaker, and its predecessor Elland 1872 Porter.
Three bars with the theme Championship – marking Rotherham United’s promotion to the division last season – will also offer other fine ales, foreign bottled beers, cider, perry, wine and food.
The three-day celebration also features daily live entertainment, including an appearance by the Buffalo Skinners on Saturday night.
Doors open this evening at 6pm and tickets are available for all the sessions at the festival, sponsored by WilfordSmith.
