Charity seeks Sheffield people to help house young homeless
Youth homelessness charity Depaul UK is looking for volunteer hosts in Sheffield to put up young people in their spare rooms.
The charity’s Nightstop scheme places homeless young people in volunteers’ homes for a few nights before they move onto something more sustainable. All the young people are risk-assessed first, and Nightstop works closely with them before they are placed with volunteers.
Information sessions will be held at Cumberland House, 176 Eyre Street, S1 4QZ, at 4pm and 6pm tomorrow (Thursday, April 7). To book a place, call 07918 904661.
