Christine, a lecturer at Sheffield Business School, said: “We can encourage businesses to pay the living wage, protect workers rights and safeguard our future.

“I believe we need to consider economic well being alongside social and environmental well being. My particular area of interest is in the role of business and how we can encourage businesses to pay the living wage, protect workers rights and safeguard our future.

“If I am elected as an MP I will work tirelessly to support this agenda – to provide green jobs that pay the living wage and support worker rights for people living in my constituency. At the same time I will work with businesses to help them change their practices so that they safeguard our natural environment for future generations.”

Christine has lived in the constituency since 1993. She is a non-executive director of Sheffield Renewables, a social enterprise dedicated to increasing renewable energy in Sheffield.
