Claude Dielna heading from Sheffield Wednesday to Slovan Bratislava

Versatile Sheffield Wednesday player Claude Dielna is on the verge on moving on loan to Slovak Super Liga side Slovan Bratislava.

According to reports in France, the 28 year old will join the division's second placed team until the end of this season.

Dielna is yet to feature under Carlos Carvalhal and told France Football: "I'm going to play as many matches as possible. The team is currently second in the championship and we have the goal of being champions and reach the preliminary round of the Champions League."

He made 25 appearances last season, scoring one goal, which will be regarded as his most memorable contribution in a Sheffield Wednesday shirt - the winner against Blackburn at Ewood Park in the 93rd minute.

Dielna signed from French side AC Ajaccio in August 2013.
