Concerned residents have reported matter to Sheffield Council and South Yorkshire Police.

One woman said: "There were a few at first and then gradually over the last month more have been dumped there.

"It's not so much that they are an eyesore, I am concerned on safety grounds because they are so close to a number of homes. It wouldn't take much for them to go up in flames, so they need moved urgently."
