Brett Robinson, who signed a new deal this week, Cale Tanaka, Chris Bruton, Carl Lauzon and Kevin Noble put Blaze firmly in control - they were 5-0 up at 29:34.

But Steelers produced a comeback through Fredrik Vestberg, Robert Dowd and Guillaume Desbiens to keep the tie alive.

A two-goal deficit seems a big hill to climb - but one that the Elite League champions are capable of on their own ice.

Their third goal at the Skydome, on the Power Play at 58:29, certainly puts them in with a shot.

The tie will be decided at Sheffield Arena on Sunday night.

Sheffield are without injured Zack Fitzgerald, but have Colton Fretter back in the line up.
