Man charged with murder after Sheffield stab death

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a Sheffield man stabbed to death on a city street.

James Lewis Knowles, aged 22, from the Norfolk Park area of the city, has been charged with murdering 24-year-old Mubarak Ali, of Headford Grove, Broomhall, who was stabbed to death outside a city barber’s.

Mubarak had been in the shop with his younger brother when his killer called him out of the shop and attacked him.

Knowles was charged with the offence on Saturday.

He is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
