Police still investigating alleged rape of 18-year-old at Sheffield park
Police are still investigating the alleged rape of an 18-year-old woman at Endcliffe Park a week after it was reported.
An 18-year-old woman has reported being raped in a car at Endcliffe Park at around 11.30pm last Tuesday.
Large crowds had gathered in the sunshine in the park that day as lockdown restrictions eased, allowing groups to meet up again outdoors. The rape is reported to have taken place in a silver or grey Mercedes which had been parked in one of the spaces at the entrance to the park.
The attacker was Asian, in his 20s and wore a white T-shirt and black joggers or jeans. He drove off in the direction of Hunter’s Bar roundabout.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote incident number 13 of March 31.
