Three men from Rotherham have pleaded guilty to possessing a handgun.

David Webb, 29, from South Crescent, East Dene, pleaded guilty to possessing a Glock handgun on July 10, 2014, at a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

Natale L’Ala, 31, from Moorgate Road, Rotherham and Robert Webb, 28, also of South Crescent, East Dene, had also pleaded guilty to the same charge at an earlier date.

It follows a police raid on a house on Moorgate Road on July 10, where several arrests were made.

Charges against two other defendants, Maria L’Ala, 29, of Moorgate Road, Rotherham, and Simon Burrows, 35, of Woodside Court, Wickersley, were dismissed at Monday’s hearing.

The men will be sentenced at a later date.
