Three more arrests in Rotherham child sexual exploitation investigation

Three more men have been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

It means 11 people have now been arrested in connection with this specific investigation since November.

The men, aged 35, 33 and 30 years-old, were arrested on Wednesday in the Rotherham area in connection with a number of sexual offences including rape, false imprisonment and indecent assault committed against two girls under the age of 16 between 1999 and 2001.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
