Crooner Paul gets in the swing

In the latest in a series of ‘Intimate Evenings’ at Genting Casino the Paul Pashley Quartet will be playing classic swing-jazz next Thursday, January 30.

Born and brought up in Arbourthorne he first performed with the Crucible Youth Theatre and Splinter Theatre Group before gaining a BA Honours Degree in Performing Arts at Salford University, The 34-year-old actor and performer commutes between his home city and his Manchester apartment where for the last few years he has a residency at Manchester’s favourite celebrity haunt, Rio Ferdinand’s restaurant Rosso. Paul regularly works for many corporate and high profile clients including Sir Alex Ferguson, both as a solo artist and with an array of band sizes from jazz trio to a full 17 piece big band.

He was flown to Italy to sing at Wayne and Colleen Rooney’s wedding and recently performed at the Women of Steel concert in honour of his “Nan of Steel”, Nelly Pashley. He has a long-awaited first album released in the new year.
