DEBORAH Lockwood pushed herself to the limit twice on the same weekend.
First the partner at Sheffield rescue and recovery specialists Begbies Traynor hiked 21 miles over nine grit stone edges in the Peak District in the Nine Edges Endurance to raise money for Edale Mountain Rescue team.
The next day she covered 13.1 miles in the Great North Run for the charity Help for Heroes.
“I committed to do the Nine Edges some time ago and a friend then offered me a place in the Great North Run which I was keen to do again, but I hadn’t realised that the two events were in the same weekend!” said Deborah. “Remarkably, I felt fine after the weekend, having put in a fair amount of training.”
