Dine into evening with supper club at Sheffield food festival
A new supper club showcasing Italian street food has been lined up for next month's Sheffield Food Festival.
Broomhill restaurant Proove is to provide a bespoke menu of their most popular ingredients with a seasonal twist, whilst introducing new dishes including arancini, angioletti, crocche and pizza fritti, on Saturday May 26 in the festival’s theatre kitchen marquee.
Each of the five courses will be paired with painstakingly
matched alcoholic drinks.
Tickets are limited to just 50 people and are £50 per person, including canapés and welcome drink. A proportion of each ticket price will go to Foordinate to help pay for a meal for someone in need.

The full programme of events and traders lined up for the festivalis due to be released on May 1, but other attractions also include a chocolate tasting event with Max Scotford from Bullion Chocolate on the Saturday.
Tickets cost £5 from eventbrite.co.uk and are redeemable against chocolate bought on the day.
Making Yorkshire mark
Sheffield food businesses are being urged to sign up for a new benchmark.
The Yorkshire Mark – a new independent food and drink provenance logo for the region – was created by York couple Debi and Mark Lazenby.
“Our aim is to unite the amazing independent food and drink community under one brand that everyone recognises”, said Debi.
Restaurants, delis, breweries and even Michelin starred chef Andrew Pern have signed up, but the couple are now focusing on Sheffield businesses. Visit yorkshiremark.co.uk for more information.
