A Doncaster model and actress is set to return to TV screens next month after landing a role in the latest series of Channel 4 police drama No Offence.

Danielle Hanson, who already has a string of TV and film credits to her name, will feature in the third series of the Channel 4 show, created by Shameless writer Paul Abbott.

Danielle, 27, from Skellow, who also recently starred in a music video with Love Island star and DJ Tom Zanetti, landed her role after signing up with Policelot, a firm which supplies police extras for TV and film productions.

She has previously starred in ITV crime drama Safe House and first made her name after winning the Miss British Empire modelling contest in 2014.

No Offence, which is now in its third season, follows the goings on at a police station in inner city Manchester.

'Series 3 is about the void left by political parties, clusters of ignorance streamlined into soldier ants,' says creator Paul Abbott.

'Whether it's a real or perceived void doesn't matter. Predators will always exploit a weakness.'
