Sheffield High School celebrated a successful year including its best-ever A-level results at the annual prize giving at the Octagon centre.
Guest speaker was Helen Fraser, MD of Penguin books and CEO of the Girls’ Day School Trust.
Headteacher Valerie Dunsford congratulated students on impressive results, which put the school among top performers nationally.
Prize winners included head girl Jenny Utting, who also gave a vote of thanks.
Academic awards also went to Molly Axelby; sisters Mazarine and Camelia Yousefpour; Poppy Clark, who won a special honour for contribution to wider school life while in Y7; and all-rounder Amaka Uchegbu, who was also congratulated on her seat in the Youth Parliament, success in a public speaking event and netball coaching award.
