Sheffield Wednesday captain Reda Johnson donated £5,000 to help children with special needs at Norfolk Park School.

It will meet half the cost of a computer system which projects images on floors and walls.

Reda made a special impact on Sophie Hind-Marsh, seven, who has locked-in syndrome and normally only moves her eyes. She began to smile at the footballer. He said: “If God gives me a chance to help people, why not?”
