Ofsted inspectors have praised standards at Hallam Primary 12 months after it was ordered to improve.
It is now rated ‘good’ in pupil achievement, behaviour and safety, quality of teaching and leadership.
Head Samantha Fearnehough said the school was ‘hit hard’ when it was the first in Sheffield to be inspected under new criteria and she had asked for another inspection as soon as possible.
“This Ofsted report confirms what we have been saying for a long time now – that Hallam is a good school. I am absolutely delighted that the hard work of our children and staff has been praised.”
