A REVIEW is being launched of services for under-fives in Sheffield.
Parents, carers and families are being invited by the council to give their views on the quality of services, support for children’s centres, childcare provision, value for money and the targeting of funding.
Coun Jackie Drayton, cabinet member for children, young people and families, said support received from an early age shaped children’s futures.
“Being happy, healthy and feeling supported is vital in these first years and we accept in Sheffield that we have to do more as we are not at the same level as the best-performing authorities in other parts of the country.”
The consultation ends on July 22.
