Are you a cook?

I would live in the kitchen if I could. I love cooking and baking.

Any cooking tips?

Cold hands and cold kitchen make the best pastry.

Favourite dish?

Creamy pancetta and asparagus risotto.

And a drink to go with it?

A glass of Pinot Grigio.

Favourite restaurant in Sheffield?

San Lorenzo in Crookes. It’s a small, family run Italian restaurant with high quality dishes.

Favourite pub in Sheffield?

The Admiral Rodney in Loxley. They do really decent pub food.

Worst ever meal you have had?

A friend was working her way through a Nigella cookbook and invited me over for dinner to try the

Mustard Pork Chops. The pork was just about cooked on the outside, raw in the middle and the sauce had completely curdled.

Best meal you have had?

I had a very delicious goat, lentil and sweet potato curry whilst on holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines a few years ago. I keep trying to replicate it but I’ve not yet perfected it.

Mary Berry.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

There are so many good, independent places to eat out at in Sheffield. I’m planning to try out Mount

Lebanon on West Street next.
