Are you a cook?

Yes, I enjoy cooking healthy, simple food.

Any cooking tips?

I always recommend cooking from scratch, that way you know exactly what is going into your meal/

What’s your favourite dish?

I absolutely love Asian food, so a Pad Thai or a ramen would be my favourite.

And a drink to go with it?

A gin & tonic

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

I love Saigon68, the food is reasonably priced and delicious.

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?

When I first moved away from home I tried to cook a stir-fry without a packet sauce, my only ingredients were chilli powder and spicy salty stir fry, which was basically inedible.

And the best?

I spent a year living in Sicily. There was a restaurant there which did the best antipasti followed by these enormous freshly made pizzas.

Your favourite TV cook?

I love Jamie Oliver, I think he provides simple but healthy accessible recipes

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

There are so many options, including a lot of independents, which often provide the most authentic meals.

There are so many places that I’m yet to discover but it really does offer everything from The Fox House for the perfect roast, to authentic Asian to places to the perfect brunch spot at The Depot Bakery or Tamper.
