Less is more. I try to do everything in one pot as well as it saves on washing up!

It would have to be crispy duck pancakes. Candy Town on London Road do amazing ones.

And a drink to go with it?

Ideally it would be Anchor Steam or Sierra Nervad. However, this year, I’ve set a challenge to not drink alcohol, so for me, it’s a lime and soda water.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

Zeugma on London Road. It’s a fantastic Turkish restaurant, they do the best mixed grill I have ever tasted.

And pub?

The Greystones or The Blake in Walkley -proper drinking pubs with a good atmosphereand old-fashioned feel.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall – I like the way he lives his life and his views on food.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

Brilliant – the outskirts have a lot of hidden gems, I love finding new places to go.
