Are you a cook?

I like to think I am fairly good cook. I just wish I had more time and a bigger kitchen. My cola and mustard ham with a macaroni cheese side, always goes down a storm.

Any cooking tips?

Buy a slow oven! There’s nothing better than coming home and having a hot meal ready and waiting.

What’s your favourite dish?

It has to be Beef Randang with coconut rice. Yum!

And a drink to go with it?

With Beef Randang there is nothing better than a Chang Beer, but normally I’m a prosecco girl.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

I love VeroGusto on Norfolk Row – perfect for a special occasion.

And pub?

The Broadfield – cosy, tasty food, friendly service, good choice of drinks, spacious

beer garden, and nearby.

What’s the worst meal you’ve had?

I actually made myself sick after making a fish pie once – maybe I’m not such a good

cook after all?!

And the best?

I love the bottomless brunches at Flesh and Buns in Covent Garden, London.

Your favourite TV cook?

Ken Hom – he’s always smiley.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

It’s great - so diverse that you can have food from all around the world. Some of the small independents, like Wah wahs, offer excellent food and great value.
