Footballers team up to celebrate Sheffield pharmacy's anniversary
Ex-football stars teamed up with the Lord Mayor of Sheffield to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a local pharmacy.
Residents who live close to Totley Pharmacy, on Baslow Road, also joined former Sheffield United players Carl Asaba, Rob Page and Tony Currie and ex-Owl David Hirst at the event.
Visitors went behind the scenes to learn about the pharmacy’s state-of-the-art dispensing robot, which helps provide a safer, faster and more efficient service. Totley is home to one of only a few pharmacies in the country with the robot.
Totley Pharmacy’s owner, Tajinder Singh, said: “It’s been a privilege to serve such a wonderful community over the years.”
