Four men break into Barnsley service station

Four men broke into a Barnsley petrol station to steal alcohol and scratch cards.

At around 11.50pm on Tuesday March 15, four men forced entry to the Jet service station in Royston Lane.

A quantity of alcohol and scratch cards were taken during the incident.

South Yorkshire Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The four men are all described as being men in their 20s and were wearing dark clothing.

One suspect, who is described as being medium build, around 5ft 9ins tall, was wearing a black woolly hat and a black jumper with a print of a woman on the front.

Another man, described as being around 5ft 9ins tall of chubby build, was wearing a blue t-shirt underneath a dark-coloured body warmer with a hood.

A third man, described as being around 5ft 7ins tall of slim build, was wearing a dark waterproof coat with a hood that had a motif on its right bicep.
