The Sheffield District of the Methodist Church is joining many churches and organisations across the country in celebrating this year’s event.

On Thursday it is hosting a Big Fairtrade Breakfast in the cafe at Victoria Hall, on Norfolk Street, Sheffield.

Revd Gill Newton said: “Many churches and other faith communities across Sheffield are committed to Fairtrade, because buying and using Fairtrade goods helps support small farmers across the world to get a fair deal and live better lives.”
