Ex-servicemen join in festivities

Members of Blind Veterans UK - formerly St Dunstan’s - the national charity for blind ex-servicemen and women, enjoyed a Christmas-themed week of baking and craftwork at their charity’s Sheffield centre.

Members of the charity, who are all blind or vision impaired, spent time making all sorts of Christmas goodies including cards, baubles, wrapping paper, garlands, mince pies, biscuits, chocolate truffles and coconut ice.

The members also got the chance to visit a Christmas panto, walk through Castleton village, and enjoy a pub dinner.
