Fitness fans sweated it out at free exercise classes at Graves Park in Sheffield as part of National Outdoor Fitness Day.
Delivered by British Military Fitness, the classes aimed to raise awareness of the benefits of exercising outdoors and encourage people of all ages to enjoy some physical activity in the fresh air.
Rob Love, managing director of British Military Fitness, said the classes proved a massive success with many people from across the city swapping their sofas for an outdoor workout.
He said: “National Outdoor Fitness Day was launched to inspire people to improve their lifestyles, but I have to say the inspiration has worked both ways.
“Seeing so many people engage in outdoor fitness inspires our instructors and the work we do.
“Hopefully everyone who took part in a class can see the benefits outdoor fitness brings as they continue to work towards their goals.
