With a flick of a switch, the lights were on at St Luke’s Hospice in Whirlow – adding extra sparkle to the festive season.

The charity’s Festival of Light, now in its 17th year, saw the hospice building and trees in the grounds decorated with thousands of twinkling white illuminations.

Look North presenter and charity patron Harry Gration did the honours, while the event also featured music from Holymoorside Brass Band, City of Sheffield Teachers’ Choir and Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir.
