PATIENTS in Derbyshire are being invited to nominate their NHS Heroes as part of a new scheme to recognise the work that individuals and teams do every day.
The scheme was launched to encourage patients and their families to nominate staff members and teams whose compassion and kindness has made a difference to their lives.
Lew Hall, lead governor at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, said: “There are many unsung heroes in the NHS.
“Every day staff across the organisation work to improve the experiences of patients and their families, and it’s great to think they will finally be recognised.”
Visit www.nhsheroes.com to make a nomination, with September 21 the closing date for entries.
