A former England rugby union captain is heading to Sheffield as part of a big cycling challenge.

Lawrence Dallaglio is leading the Dallaglio Cycle Slam, a 2,500km ride from northern Italy to London’s Twickenham stadium.

The final stage starts tomorrow in Leeds, and will see Lawrence and his team staying over in Sheffield on Saturday after enjoying a meal at Pizza Express on Devonshire Street.

In total 300 riders are taking part in the challenge, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and Dallaglio’s Rugby for Change programme.
