A PHYSIOTHERAPIST will walk up and down one of Sheffield’s steepest hills 50 times in an array of swimwear, including flippers, to raise money for The Children’s Hospital Charity.
Jo Roberts, who works at the Ryegate Children’s Centre, takes on the Meersbrook Park hill challenge on Saturday.
“I’m currently getting my outfits together. I have bikinis, a wetsuit, flippers and even a full size surfboard,” said Jo, aged 43. “My son Max, who’s 17, has promised to do it with me, but not in speedos!”
The Children’s Hospital Charity is refurbishing the hydrotherapy pool at Ryegate. Jo is raising money for extra equipment such as sensory toys, towels and bath robes.
