Live music hours are curbed at new pub

A NEW pub in the West One plaza in Fitzwilliam Street in Sheffield city centre has been told it cannot offer live music after 11pm until it has satisfied the council about noise insulation. Then the limit is midnight.

The licence for The Hop, which is near apartments, allows it to play recorded music until 1am throughout the week. Alcohol can be served until 12.30am.

Located in a former Budgens supermarket, the premises will be run by Ossett Brewery.
