The 30-year-old from High Storrs is aiming to run five 5k races, four half marathons, three 10K races, two South Yorkshire five mile road races and one London Marathon,

Altogether, the ‘54321 Challenge’ adds up to 200km.

The inspiration to raise money for the Children’s Hospital comes through family and friends who work there, including his sister who is a senior radiographer. “My running club, Totley Athletics Club, has been fantastic and has awarded me a place in this year’s London Marathon, so I jumped at the opportunity to push my own fitness, and at the same time raise money for The Children’s Hospital Charity.”
