Mercy for Mankind Charity Challenge: Reflecting true meanings of Islam
The true meaning of Islam will be reflected when young Muslims from across the country run and walk for charity in Sheffield next month.
Britain’s largest Muslim youth organisation, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) is to hold its ‘Mercy for Mankind’ Charity Challenge on Sunday July 8 in Rother Valley Park.
Members of the organisation, some as young as five, from across South Yorkshire are joining other youth from across the country to practice the Islamic teachings of serving humanity by raising funds for British charities in the Marathon. Regional youth leader for AMYA Yorkshire, Nadeem Ahmed, said people were travelling all the way from Yorkshire and they wanted to show true teachings of Islam.
