The annual exhibition by the Sheffield Model Railway Enthusiasts society drew visitors to Birkdale School.
The exhibition last Saturday and Sunday featured nearly 20 model railway layouts, while more than 10 traders and other societies visited to the event.
The enthusiasts have held the show since 1956, and some years the attendance figure has exceeded 1,000 people.
New members are welcome to meetings at Carterknowle Methodist Church, Edgedale Road, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm.
Traders and societies at this year’s show included South Yorkshire Transport Museum, Sweets of Yesterday, Direct Train Spares, Peak Rail and the DEMU Group, which specialises in diesel and electric models.
