A day of dance will be held next year – to mark a milestone anniversary for Sheffield’s morris men.
Sheffield City Morris Men turns 40 in 2015 and the group is planning to hold the event in the city centre on Saturday, June 13.
And ‘as many local dance teams as can make it’ are set to take part before the event ends with an evening ceilidh at Sheffield Cathedral.

An exhibition illustrating the groups history will be held at the Winter Garden in the city centre from Tuesday to Sunday, September 2 to 7. The group will take to the streets and dance at several spots in the city centre to celebrate the exhibition.
The men will also perform at the Sheffield Show in Graves Park on Monday, August 25. and the Dore Show on Saturday, September 13.
