A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Sheffield.
The incident happened when a black motorcycle and a green Rover were involved in a crash in Burncross Road, Chapletown, yesterday (Thursday, July 16), at 6.30pm.
A 39-year-old man riding the motorcycle was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A 78-year-old woman driving the Rover was not injured.
Police said the motorcycle rider was travelling away from Chapeltown when the collision happened close to the junction with Bevan Way.
